The demand for the Functional Safety SW is growing together with the trend of the autonomous cars. It is nowadays mandatory for each microcontroller / electronic system in Automotive. Our software solutions implement complex Safety Concept designed for a particular microcontroller where we can fully use our advantage of the microcontroller vendor to choose between HW / SW solution to achieve higher efficiency a flexibility. NXP provides large portfolio of suitable microprocessors and microcontrollers supported with Functional Safety software to be used directly by our customers in their electronic control units.
