Proficiency in production planning, Scheduling or manufacturing coordination, Understanding of build processes, Work order management, Quality systems, Read and interpret engineering documentation, BOMs and work instructions, Proficient in production tracking tools, Data entry systems, Clear relay status, issues, and priorities, Work independently, Prioritize tasks, Adapt to changing production demands
Nice to Have
Experience in aerospace, Defense or high-reliability electronics manufacturing, Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies, Proficiency with production management or MES systems, Experience with Non-Conformance (NC) tracking, Disposition processes, Quality management systems, Analyze production data, Generate actionable reports or metrics, Cross-functional collaboration skills, Experience supporting or leading process improvement, Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Ambiguous environment with evolving priorities, Background in satellite, Hardware, or complex electromechanical assembly
What You'll Do.
Plan daily production work orders
Sequence daily production work orders
Coordinate with supervisors
Resolve scheduling conflicts
Resolve material shortages
Resolve technical blockers
Adjust plans in real time
Communicate WIP status
Flag delays or quality holds
Ensure affected units are dispositioned
Schedule rework efficiently
Maintain accurate records in production systems
Identify systemic planning issues
Escalate systemic planning issues
Identify recurring bottlenecks
Escalate process gaps
Provide guidance to technicians
Mentor technicians on planning processes
Mentor technicians on documentation standards
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute floor-level insight
Ensure compliance with work instructions
Ensure compliance with safety protocols
Ensure compliance with quality standards
