Deep, hands-on experience with Magento 2. x (architecture, EAV models, UI components), WordPress (custom themes, hooks, and plugin development), Proven ability to inherit, audit, and optimize existing codebases, Comfortable identifying "technical debt" and documenting inherited systems, Proficiency in PHP 8. x and Object-Oriented Programming, Solid grasp of Composer and PSR standards, Experience optimizing MySQL queries, Managing high-performance caching layers like Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch, Proficiency in HTML5, CSS (SASS/LESS), and JavaScript, Experience working with REST/GraphQL APIs to connect Magento and WordPress with external ERPs, CRMs, or marketing tools, Solid understanding of Git version control, Staging-to-production workflows, Managing Linux-based server environments (Nginx/Apache), Knowledge of PCI compliance, Magento security patching, WordPress hardening techniques
