What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Java development skills, extensive multi-threaded programming, Spring based/Spring boot framework, REST Services, enterprise application development experience, Relational database (MS SQL/Oracle), Solace/MQ/Kafka or any other middleware
Nice to Have
UI technology (Angular/React), dev ops tools ( Gitlab, Kubernetes, docker), Financial trading system experience, Fixed Income products such as bonds and CDS, Desire to learn and adapt to new technology out of the core skillset
