Eligibility Requirements

Sitting for up to 7 hours daily, Standing for up to 6 hours daily, Continuously fingering, handling, and twisting, Frequently lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds, Occasional stooping/bending, squatting, crouching, crawling, Frequently reaching to height above shoulders, Touching to perceive earmold/hearing aid conditions, Accurate hearing for speech audiometry, Normal conversation understanding, General vision, Near and far vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception, Accurate speaking for speech audiometry, Normal conversation speaking

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Doctoral degree in audiology, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Current Audiologist license in the State of Pennsylvania or New Jersey

Nice to Have

Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-A), Clinical Fellowship Year candidates considered with supervision

What You'll Do.

Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluation

Conduct acoustic reflex threshold testing

Conduct reflex decay testing

Conduct brainstem auditory evoked response (BAER) testing

Conduct infant hearing screening

Conduct electronystagmography

Conduct industrial audiometry

Interpret test results

Communicate results to patients

Recommend further testing

Counsel patient regarding rehabilitation/habilitation options

Provide hearing aid services

Referrals to other services
