What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of full-time work experience building highly performant web applications, Experience with a technical project end-to-end, from design to delivery, understanding of scalable system design for web-based APIs and backend processing systems, Experience collaborating closely with Product & Design to design, implement and iterate on high impact end-to-end product experiences, Experience working with relational databases and key-value stores, Experience working on large scale Ruby on Rails / NodeJS projects, Basic knowledge of AWS or other equivalent cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, etc.), Experience analyzing, benchmarking and optimizing web application page load performance across the entire stack
Nice to Have
Knowledge of our full-stack technologies is highly preferred - Typescript, NodeJS, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails etc., Experience with creatives, AdTag or programmatic advertising is a plus
What You'll Do.
Development of our advertising platform
Producing production-level code
scalable distributed systems
Find solutions to optimize bottle-necks and general system wide performance
Keep the tech stack updated with current standards
scalable and test-driven code
Take part in technical planning and architectural decision-making
Collaborate with team members on designing scalable
and well documented web architecture
including APIs and backend systems
Take responsibility and ownership of projects from start to finish
Contribute to code reviews and technical spec reviews
Enable software builders to leverage StackAdapt’s proprietary platform through APIs and MCPs
Maintain the GraphQL Public API and peripheral services
Maintain the MCP servers and tools which power our AI system (Ivy)
Maintain external customers’ agents
Build powerful AI and automation solutions
