We’re looking for a highly motivated, curious, and fast-learning Full Stack Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll work across frontend and backend systems, build user-facing features, and help shape the future of Melio’s B2B payments platform. Qualifications: 1- 2 years of experience as a full-stack engineer working with both frontend and backend technologies. Experience working with React. Experience developing backend services and APIs using Node.js or Python. Experience building applications with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS. Self-driven and highly motivated, with eagerness to learn and take ownership. Bonus points: Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally AWS. Experience working with relational databases. Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.). AI Coding experience (Cursor, CoPilot, or similar) A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact: Each team member is an all-around player who influences the product, designing the overall experience and charges the development. You’ll be using technologies like React, Node.js, AWS, and scalable databases to build a unique B2B payments experience. About the Engineering department: The Engineering department is the backbone of Melio. We build, scale, and maintain the technical infrastructure that processes over $100B in annual payments for small businesses nationwide. Following our acquisition by Xero, we're tackling an even more exciting challenge: integrating Melio's payment platform with Xero's accounting software to create a unified financial ecosystem.
