Must Have
Active Top-Secret clearance, 5+ years of related experience, 5+ years designing, developing, and implementing ETL solutions from various data sources, Proficiency in ETL development, data transformation, and data management, Experience with Power BI for data visualization and analysis, Knowledge of data query, data aggregation, and system architecture, Experience with big data technologies, Ability to design and write test case scripts, Database knowledge (required for ETL functions), Able to deal with a diverse set of stakeholders and facilitate workshops, Proficient in articulation, communication, presentation, and hold high integrity, Possess problem-solving skills & a learning attitude, Needs to be a team player, can also work remotely and independently

What You'll Do.
Design overall architecture of the web application
and implement Extract
Transform and Load (ETL) solutions from various data sources into desired systems
Maintain and supervise operation of existing ETL packages
Troubleshoot and debug front- and back-end processes

SMX is seeking creative problem solvers who can design and develop solutions with our clients. We are technology agnostic, in a sense, and are interested in people who come from different environments and backgrounds than perhaps what we have seen. Understanding and having an interest in working in an analytics environment is a great skill to have as well. You can be a self-proclaimed full-stack web application guru, advancing in your engineering or analytics career, or a data developer who has a strong interest in software engineering. You will be part of one of our fastest-growing, heavily impactful teams, and working with a great client who loves data as much as we do. This is a full-time position requiring on-site work four days a week at a client’s office in Washington, D. C. An active Top-Secret clearance is mandatory.
