What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Five or more years of bookkeeping and accounting experience, Associate's degree in accounting and relevant business courses, working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software, 3–7+ years bookkeeping experience, QuickBooks experience (required), Excel skills, Proven bookkeeping experience, Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles, Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records, Data entry skills, Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software, Proficiency in English, Proficiency in MS Office
Nice to Have
High attention to detail, ability to work independently, Customer service orientation, negotiation skills, High degree of accuracy, exceptional communication skills, able to work independently in a confidential environment
What You'll Do.
Process daily billing
and resolve billing disputes
Enter accounts payable invoices
Enter credit card charges into the accounting system
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Process payroll and related entries
Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L
Support the month-end close
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
