Comfortable working in all weather conditions, Physically able to operate machinery and equipment, Physically able to operate motor vehicles, Able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license, Able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust U. S. Government Clearance, U. S. Citizenship required, Climbing on ladders, scaffolding, and platforms, Standing, bending, and working in cramped spaces, Lifting and carrying tools and equipment (over 40 pounds), Specific vision abilities, Ability to adjust focus, Exposed to moving mechanical parts, Exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, Exposed to fumes or airborne particles, Exposed to toxic or caustic substances, Exposed to extreme outdoor weather, Risk of electrical shock, Moderate noise level
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, Two (2) to five (5) years of job-related experience, Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, Must have experience in the installation, operation, inspection, maintenance, and/or repair of fuel delivery systems, Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment, trucks, forklifts, fuel pumps, hand tools, etc., Must be physically able to operate motor vehicles, Ability to read, speak and write English, Must possess basic mathematical skills, Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license, Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust U. S. Government Clearance, U. S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Public Trust Clearance, Completed Fuels Apprentice Course (J3ABR2F031 00AB), military or commercial equivalent, Completed FORCE Course (J3AZR2F051 05AB) or 5 years’ experience
Nice to Have
National Petroleum Management Association Certified Petroleum Journeyman (CPJ) or equivalent certification is acceptable in place of fuels apprentice training
What You'll Do.
Prepare FHE for storage
Perform periodic inspections
Perform hydrostatic hose testing
Maintain shelf-life program
Perform inventory of kits
