High School Graduate or equivalent, 1-year experience in Fresh Meats industry, Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, Ability to stand for 12 hours, Work in cold/hot temperatures, Work in wet environment, Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, Reach high and low levels, Climb step ladders and/or stairs, Work overtime and weekends, Lock Out Tag Out certification

Nice to Have

College or technical school a plus, Other QA type experience, Relevant education

What You'll Do.

Examine carcasses post-mortem

Pre-sort carcasses on conveyor line

Determine carcass fitness for consumption

Perform physical pre-sortation

Perform visual pre-sortation

Conduct pre-sortation of organs

Verify condition of organs

Verify condition of lymph nodes

Verify condition of cervical visceral

Verify rail pre-sortation

Address pre-sortation issues

Assist with post-mortem pre-sortation

Maintain associated parts for disposition

Use knife and/or hook

Perform other duties as assigned
