**Job Details:** **_J_** **SUMMARY:** This position is designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to hire, train, oversee, and support Quality Assurance (QA) hourly team members. Responsibilities include gaining a strong understanding of Quality Assurance programs, product specifications, labeling requirements, HACCP, and regulatory standards. The role also focuses on building foundational management skills, including effective communication, problem-solving, plant operations, and cross-functional training across departments within the facility. Additional responsibilities include supporting special projects assigned by the FSQA Manager, utilizing computer applications, managing and verifying records, and applying statistical process control. This position plays a critical role in ensuring food safety, food quality, and regulatory compliance. **REQUIREMENTS:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., food science, agriculture, or another relevant technical discipline) or equivalent knowledge. * **Experience:** No direct experience required; prior work experience is preferred. * **Computer Skills:** Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; additional systems training will be provided. * **Communication Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication abilities. * **Travel:** Approximately three or more trips within a six-month period. * **Additional Requirements:** Ability and willingness to relocate.
