Travel to other locations may be required, Frequent walking (75%), Sitting (50%), Standing (50%), Regular bending, stooping, and reaching (25–50%), Lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs, Constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology, Visual and auditory acuity required 100% of the time, Occasional driving or climbing may be necessary
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience, Favorable result on background check as required by state, Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
Nice to Have
Previous medical office experience, Previous ophthalmic experience
What You'll Do.
Embrace and execute Total Patient Experience
Build relationships with all patients
Deliver great service and support
Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter
Display a professional attitude
Greet patients promptly with a smile
Thank patients when they leave
Answer phones (both external and internal)
courteous service at all times
Practice urgency at all times
Double check insurance authorizations
Ensure completion of insurance authorizations
Build accurate flow sheets
Collect correct payments according to procedures
Manage patient flow in the office
Ensure communication to maximize efficiency and customer service
Complete daily reconciliations
Countdown cash drawer
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Perform general office duties
Perform cleaning duties
