Employer: Amazon Web Services, Inc. Position: Front-End Engineer II Location: New York, NY Multiple Positions Available: Create page designs in standards-compliant HTML and CSS. Implement functionality in JavaScript (and JavaScript-based frameworks/libraries) and server-side languages/frameworks like Node.js, Java, Perl, and Python. Collaborate with product and design team to define information architecture, advocating Web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability. Work with back-end developers to create the best possible user experience and reduce the latency of page load. Maintain and update existing websites/web-applications. Collaborate with business teams to understand customer issues and investigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative system solutions. Cultivate an Agile environment to deliver high quality software. Drive projects from start to finish with a team of junior web developers.
