Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guest

Non-verbally confirm the room number and rate

Provide welcome folders

Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization

Balance an assigned house bank

Accept and record vouchers

Convert foreign currency at current posted rates

Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts

Promptly answer the telephone

Input messages into the computer

Retrieve messages and communicate the content to the

small packages and facsimiles for customers

Close guest accounts at time of check out

Ascertain guest satisfaction

Negotiate compromise in the event of dissatisfaction

Authorizing revenue allowances

Field guest complaints

Conduct thorough research to develop the most effective
