## Copywriter / Editor (Senior) **Newsletter, Press Releases & Editorial Support** ### Mission / Purpose Provide German-language editorial production and editing services, including press newsletters, press releases, support for press enquiries, and concise written monitoring summaries with a strong regional focus. Ideally, the freelancer would be based in the Bonn area. ### Key Responsibilities * Draft and distribute a bi-monthly regional press newsletter, including: * Collecting inputs from stakeholders across several German federal states. * Compiling and maintaining a schedule of relevant appointments and events. * Writing clear, engaging German-language content tailored to press audiences. * Supporting the acquisition of new newsletter subscribers. * Distributing the newsletter to established contact lists. * Draft press releases with clear regional relevance and tailored messaging. * Support responses to press enquiries by drafting and editing content and ensuring message consistency. * Conduct media monitoring and produce short written summaries of the press situation and relevant regional policy developments. ### Deliverables / Outputs (examples) * Newsletter editions, press releases, Q&A documents or draft responses to press enquiries, media monitoring summaries, and edited communication materials. ### Work Setup * Total of 45 working days. ### Must-Have Requirements * Native or mother-tongue level German with strong editorial writing skills (writing-intensive role). * Strong professional English. * Proven experience writing and editing content for press or institutional audiences. ### . **Right to Work, Location & Sponsorship** We welcome applications from candidates based anywhere in the world.
