2+ years of experience in fraud, finance, or other professional operational roles, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and anomalies, advanced Google sheet/ Excel skills, familiarity with data analysis and statistical techniques, knowledge of fraud prevention strategies, techniques, and tools, proficiency in using fraud detection software and systems, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, proficient in making professional and courteous outbound calls, knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to fraud prevention

What You'll Do.

conducting in-depth investigations into cases of Merchant fraud

providing detailed findings to facilitate long-term fraud reduction efforts

maintaining a balance between optimizing the experience for our Merchants and combating fraudulent activities

Identify potential fraud where detection methods do not already exist

develop processes and tools to mitigate new fraud

Conduct thorough case reviews to ensure safe and compliant trading practices on the site

conducting professional outbound calls to merchants

Utilize data analysis and mathematical skills to enhance the effectiveness of the fraud operations team

Identify and analyze fraud trends within the team

presenting insights and recommendations for improved outcomes and compliance

Manage escalations as directed by leadership
