Plan, coordinate, and manage the delivery of multiple ongoing projects (up to £10 million in value). Undertake Principal Contractor responsibilities in accordance with CDM 2015 regulations”

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience), Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar Project Manager role within the water industry, SMSTS (CITB), CSCS (Manager Level), CDM Awareness, understanding of construction contracts and commercial management

Nice to Have

APM PMQ (or equivalent project management qualification NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely, Temporary Works Coordinator certification, Proficient in MS Project or similar planning tools, SEATS or Environmental Management training

What You'll Do.

and manage the delivery of multiple ongoing projects (up to £10 million in value)

Undertake Principal Contractor responsibilities in accordance with CDM 2015 regulations

Lead the implementation of Health

and Environmental (HSQE) procedures across all projects

Conduct regular health and safety site inspections and promote a proactive safety culture

Manage overall project programmes

ensuring timely and efficient delivery

Oversee all commercial aspects

including budget management

and achieving target margins

Provide line management to Site Managers

Coordinate and manage supply chain partners

resolving issues and driving performance

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and build relationships and provide regular updates on project progress

Chair and lead project meetings

ensuring accurate documentation of discussions

Manage change control and client expectations through effective communication and risk management

Collaborate with designers to develop practical

and buildable solutions

Mentor and support the professional development of project delivery teams

Ensure all necessary method statements and risk assessments are in place and maintained

Plan and secure resources and materials to meet delivery schedules
