Full Job Description
Position Summary : As the Frame Operations Production Supervisor , you will be the driving force behind our frame cutting, assembly and woodworking operations. You will oversee the production process, ensuring that our furniture is crafted safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a "hands-on" leadership role requiring a blend of technical and mechanical expertise, rigorous safety management, and the ability to mentor a diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities 1. Production Oversight & Workflow * Supervise and coordinate daily activities to meet established safety, quality, and output targets. * Monitor schedules and resource allocation to optimize workflow and minimize downtime. * Enforce SOPs , work instructions, and manufacturing best practices. * Real-time problem solving: Identify and resolve production bottlenecks or process issues immediately, escalating when necessary. * Shift Management: Oversee shift start-up and shutdown to ensure seamless transitions and continuous productivity. 2\. Safety, Health & Environmental * Lead by example: Enforce all company safety policies and foster a "safety-first" culture. * Daily Safety Compliance: Conduct toolbox talks and safety observations; investigate all incidents and near-misses. * Hazard Mitigation: Collaborate with the Safety team to identify risks and maintain a clean, compliant workspace. 3\. People Leadership & Development * Coach and Mentor: Supervise hourly production employees to drive performance, engagement, and accountability. * Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and participate in annual wage appraisal processes. * Administrative Accuracy: Manage attendance and timekeeping (ADP), ensuring accurate hours and pay rule application. * Talent Growth: Support recruitment, lead onboarding for new hires, and manage corrective actions in partnership with HR. 4\.
