What You'll Achieve.
On time and in full end to end fragrance creation compounding lab workstreams; Continuity, resilience, and high-quality delivery; Timely, high-quality, and compliant execution of fragrance creation workflows; Uphold lab KPIs such as OTIF, QC accuracy, stability study timeliness, and safety compliance
Industry & Context.
Technical maturity and expertise in interpreting formula-fragrance interaction; Ability to design studies; Stay 3 steps ahead anticipating obstacles
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 7 years in fragrance compounding and application specialist, experience in running lab operations, Must have lab operations and safety skills, Must be familiar with the odor and physical appearance of basic raw materials, Understanding of fragrance behavior in different product bases, Working knowledge of fragrance application across different bases, Working knowledge of formulation principles and stability testing, Understanding of regulatory requirements (IFRA, SDS, Unilever standards)
Nice to Have
Experience with statistical tools for DoE (e. g. , JMP, Minitab), Ideally worked in the fragrance industry and is able to evaluate fragrances and compound
What You'll Do.
Own sampling workflows
Oversee sample preparation
Drive lab operational structure
Interpret formula-fragrance interaction
Define lab operations best practices
Prepare fragrance-applied samples
Ensure fragrance-base compatibility
Compound complex fragrance oils
Prepare samples for sensory evaluations
Run QC for compounded oils
Conduct basic stability tests
Conduct basic olfactive evaluations
Plan and execute stability studies
Maintain accurate records
Design and execute DoE studies
Maintain lab equipment
Keep lab documentation up to date
Plan base availability
Follow safety and quality protocols
Create best-in-class sampling process
Propose facility improvements
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work cross-functionally with formulation teams; Work with fragrance compounder; Work with perfumer; Work with fragrance evaluators; Work with Technical Project Lead; Participate in project meetings; Contribute to technical discussions
