What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5+ years in a sales engineering, solutions architecture, or pre-sales role, track record of winning technical evaluations against incumbents at enterprise customers, hands-on fluency with the modern software development lifecycle: Git, CI/CD, IDEs, and code review workflows, working understanding of application security: SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets management, secure SDLC, threat modeling, and vulnerability triage, comfort with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot), builder’s mindset, verbal and written communication, willingness to travel up to ~30%

Nice to Have

experience at an early-stage startup (Seed to Series B) where you helped build the SE function, background in DevSecOps, AppSec, or developer tools, hands-on coding background or a prior engineering comfort writing scripts to support a POV, familiarity with agentic coding workflows, MCP integrations, and modern AI developer tooling, existing relationships in security or AppSec leadership communities

Partner with Account Executive to drive opportunity

Run live demos and architecture deep-dives

Design and execute Proof-of-Value engagements

Integrate Corridor with customer tooling

Translate customer reality into implementation plan

Build foundation of SE function

Serve as closed loop between field and product

Represent Corridor at industry events

Team & Collaboration

Partnering directly with founding Account Executive; Surfacing patterns, requests, and competitive insight directly to engineering and leadership

Communication Scope

verbal and written communication; equally credible whiteboarding with an engineering lead; presenting to a security executive
