ABOUT THE ROLE This is a rare opportunity to be the first marketing hire at a Y Combinator-backed AI voice automation startup. You'll own the entire growth engine — from strategy to execution — and work directly with the founders to shape positioning, messaging, and go-to-market across every channel. This role is central to driving early traction and telling the company's story to the market. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own and execute the inbound growth engine end-to-end, setting strategy across SEO, paid, content, and product marketing - Build repeatable, AI-automation-first marketing playbooks from the ground up - Define KPIs, run experiments, iterate fast, and communicate results across the organization - Translate complex product capabilities into compelling, market-facing messaging and positioning - Work closely with product and founders to shape how the company shows up — on the website, in campaigns, and in the press - Own paid acquisition across channels: paid social, display, and programmatic - Research, plan, and execute SEO tactics with a focus on both traditional and AI discoverability - Build and manage press relationships, pitch stories, and turn product milestones into media coverage - Constantly experiment with and identify new growth channels WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Required: You were one of the first marketing hires at a previous company, or built the marketing function from scratch at an early-stage startup - 1–7 years of experience in growth or product marketing, with at least some of that time at an early-stage company - Demonstrated ability to drive measurable results across multiple channels (SEO, paid, content, product marketing) - Strong collaboration skills — comfortable working directly with founders and product teams to craft market-facing narratives - Proficiency with a modern growth tech stack: analytics, CRM, automation, SEO tools, content platforms, and PR tools - Data-driven mindset: experienced in designing, running, and reporting on experim
