OVERVIEW At Lago, Forward-Deployed Engineers (FDEs) are engineers embedded with customers. They build, integrate, and optimize Lago in production environments: ensuring adoption, scalability, and impact. This role blends engineering depth with delivery ownership and customer collaboration. You’ll write code, deploy systems, and translate real-world use cases into product-ready insights. FDEs are not part of the reactive support queue, and they’re not isolated in core product development. They sit at the intersection of engineering and delivery: the engineers who turn product flexibility into customer success. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING - Own technical delivery for Tier 1 customers: from architecture design to deployment. - Build custom integrations, connectors, and workflows using Lago’s Ruby on Rails APIs, React, and TypeScript stack. - Design data ingestion pipelines and automation script
