Work is performed outside having a variety of weather conditions, Exposure to fumes, smoke or gases, dust, grease, and oils, Must be able to move and lift up to a 40-pound wooden skid or pallet
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 1 year experience as a forklift operator, Satisfactorily pass forklift and stand-up forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on-site test
Nice to Have
High school diploma or GED, Forklift certification preferred but not required, Any additional certifications related to equipment operation or safety standards are encouraged
What You'll Do.
Operate industrial forklift truck
Operate Stand-Up Forklift
Perform materials handling assignments
Perform order filler duties
Perform checker duties
Inspect forklift and complete checklist
Comply with dress code
Report to team leader and supervisor
Take care of assigned equipment
Keep work area and equipment clean
Confirm trailer number for unloading
Place safety devices for unloading
Scan Work Order for unloading
Verify quantity of packages against BOL
Report discrepancies on BOL
Place pallet ID labels
Inspect material for damage
Place 'Damage Material' labels
Report safety hazard or operational issue
Scan according to loading progress
Follow process and never scan on floor
Generate damage report
Take photographs of damage
Confirm DDR ID with MAPICS team
