Reports discrepancies; Reports any safety hazard or operational issue; Generates a damage report
Work is performed outside having a variety of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements, such as fumes, smoke or gases, dust, grease, and oils., Must be able to move and lift up to a 40-pound wooden skid or pallet.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED, Satisfactorily pass forklift and stand-up forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on-site test, Minimum 1 year experience as a forklift operator
Nice to Have
Forklift certification preferred but not required, A valid Forklift Operator Certification is preferred but not required, Any additional certifications related to equipment operation or safety standards are encouraged
What You'll Do.
Operate industrial forklift truck
Perform materials handling assignments
Perform order filler duties
Perform checker duties
Perform forklift inspection
Comply with dress code
Report to team leader and supervisor
Take care of assigned equipment
Keep work area and equipment clean
Understand loading and unloading processes
Confirm trailer number
Begin unloading in assigned area
Verify quantity of packages against BOL
Record received pallet information
Place yellow pallet ID labels
Inspect material for damage
Place 'Damage Material' labels
Report safety hazard or operational issue
Scan according to loading progress
Never scan on the floor
Generate damage report
Take photographs of damage
Confirm DDR ID with MAPICS team
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Reports to team leader and supervisor; Report any situation to supervisor or team lead; Report any safety hazard or operational issue immediately to the supervisor or team lead; Confirm with the MAPICS team for DDR ID
