# **Job Description** **Summary:** Operates and maintains forklift to supply production operations with raw materials to produce finished product, transfers finished product to storage or staging area and ensures finished product is loaded onto trucks in a timely manner to meet customer delivery requirements. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities: ** * The Forklift Driver has the authority to shut down production equipment to prevent the production defective product. * Preform daily operational check of forklift. Cleans forklift after use. * Continually inspect raw materials and product for defects. * Strap and load gaylords. * Load pallets and plastic onto trailers. * Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area * Print production tickets and attach to finished product. * Scan finished product into storage area or onto trailer for shipment to customer. * Load / unload dunnage trailers. * Unload preforms and sort into proper areas * Load pallets and plastic onto trailers * Move raw materials. * Make proper paperwork for incoming & outgoing materials * Sitting/Driving up to 12 consecutive hours (including breaks) * Wears all required personal protective equipment. * Maintains housekeeping of work areas. * Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
