What You'll Do.
Assign job tasks to workers
Evaluate employee performance
Resolve employee complaints
Administer discipline
Ensure patient and cafeteria foods are accurate
Ensure food is within proper temperature range
Assess food temperatures
Document food temperatures on Food Safety logs
Meet department budget standards
Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations with patients
Demonstrate positive communication with internal customers
Monitor quality of patient food preparation
Monitor quality of cafeteria meals
Ensure food and set-up is appealing
Operate POS cash register
Count register accurately
Follow cash handling procedures
Organize work requirements
Assist other Team Members
Respond positively to changing circumstances
Take effective action
Maintain patient menu software
Monitor productivity of the team
Monitor stock rotation
Monitor product utilization
Monitor department cleanliness
Document deficiencies
Ensure corrective action
Assemble hot food on patient trays
Assemble cold food items
Prepare for patient tray line
Start tray line at designated time
Minimize interruption to retrieve additional items
Assist in coordinating special functions
Assist with menu updates
Prevent cross-contamination
