Login to your McGill Workday account and apply to this posting using the Find Jobs report (type Find Jobs in the search bar).** **Hiring Unit:** Student Housing & Hospitality Services **Position Summary:** Under the supervision of the Associate Director, Food and Dining, the Food Services Officer manages continuous improvement of McGill’s food service operations. Operating within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, applies professional judgment, analytical expertise, to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and service excellence across the various food service providers. Conduct audits, liaise with internal departments, and support the team. Work closely with SHHS Facilities and McGill FMAS to schedule repairs and maintenance of food service infrastructure. **Primary Responsibility:** ## · Conduct regular in-person audits of food service operations to ensure compliance with Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Quebec (MAPAQ) standards and McGill’s internal food safety protocols. ## · Evaluate food handling, storage, preparation, and sanitation practices across all dining units. ## · Document findings and recommendations using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook). ## · Collaborate with chefs, food managers, and service staff to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans. ## · Liaising with SHHS Facilities and McGill FMAS to ensure timely repairs and maintenance of food service equipment and infrastructure. ## · Track and report on maintenance issues, affecting food safety or operational efficiency. ## · Provide training and guidance to sta
