May work in extreme temperatures., May work around biohazards., May work around chemicals., Use of manual dexterity., Climbing of stairs., Climbing of ladders., Pushing, pulling, and moving up to 50 pounds., Lifting and moving up to 62 pounds., Successful candidate will be required to successfully complete testing for strength and agility prior to employment.

Must Have

Experience working and preparing food in a restaurant, commercial, or institutional facility., Experience with operating standard kitchen equipment., Ability to complete and maintain Food Safety Training required by University Housing and Dining.

Nice to Have

One year or more of experience working and preparing food in a restaurant, commercial, or institutional facility using commercial kitchen equipment., One year or more of experience as a cashier in a food service operation utilizing point-of-sale (POS) systems., Customer service experience in a high-volume food service operation., Ability to multi-task and work with little supervision.

What You'll Do.

Serve high-quality food products.

Execute recipes based on culinary standards.

Maintain menu and product knowledge.

Break down and clean serving areas.

Restock shelves and merchandise.

Complete detailed cleaning tasks.

Provide excellent customer service.

Operate point-of-sale system.

Process transactions accurately.

Maintain and replenish service supplies.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation.

Ensure compliance with food safety.

Store food following procedures.

Maintain temperature logs.

Avoid cross-contamination.

Monitor food levels and quality.

Follow work safety guidelines.

Seek direction from supervisor.

Communicate professionally with team.

Maintain knowledge of responsibilities.

Provide support throughout dining units.

Assist with training new staff.

Adhere to University policies.

Complete food safety training.

Adhere to cash handling guidelines.

Complete cashier paperwork.
