Eligibility Requirements

Physically demanding role, Open to working a variable work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, closing shifts and other peak shopping times), Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues, Interpret instructions, reports and information, Climb up and down ladders if needed, Work in environments that will include refrigeration and freezer temperatures and where common allergens may also be handled or present, Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties, including but not limited to Drive-Ups, carryout, etc., Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shifts (shift length may vary)

Must Have

Must be at least 18 years of age or older, Food Safety Manager Certification

Nice to Have

Previous retail experience, Interest and knowledge of the food service business

What You'll Do.

Consistently deliver guest experience commitments

Ensures every team member understands

and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations

Actively observes and provides feedback

and aligns team on the right behaviors and execution

Understand sales goals

plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver department and store sales goals and guest engagement

including planning food service transitions

promotions and price change workload

Assign daily tasks to TMs based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns

ensuring alignment with weekly and monthly business priorities set by your direct leader

Assess Food Service back of house

dining spaces and merchandising spaces to ensure food safety and proper inventory levels with guidance from your direct leader

Walk Food & Beverage Standards and Food Service routines daily to assess priorities and review reporting to identify business gaps for follow-up

Follow all food safety requirements and cleaning routines

including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items

as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures

Validate and follow up on team members’ progress against department checklists and routines

Lead team to uphold and maintain all Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards and production specifications (where applicable)

Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders according to best practices

Follow proper perishable inventory management procedures to ensure an accurate recording of inventory

Make production quantity decisions just in time to ensure freshness

sales and profitability are achieved consistently

Remain up-to-date on relevant trends and products to educate team members

Participate in team hiring and onboarding processes

At direction of your direct leader

establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable to expectations

complete all Starbucks and/or Pizza Hut training requirements and certifications

Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors

identifying and correcting hazards

holding team accountable to following safety expectations

assisting with incident response

and reporting/investigating injuries timely and accurately

Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best help close skill gaps through development

coaching and team interactions

Model the execution of physical security processes in order to enhance the instore security culture

Support merchandise protection strategies across the total store

storage and application as directed by best practices

follow all safe and secure training and processes

Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities to enable the guest experience for the store during assigned shifts based on store needs

Address all store emergency and compliance needs

Support guest services such as back-up cashier

order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties
