We are seeking a dependable individual who takes machine setups seriously, catches defects before they become problems, and keeps production running efficiently. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities): Set up and operate folder gluer machines (DGM and Diana) according to strict job specifications with minimal waste. Read, interpret, and follow production tickets and customer specifications accurately. Perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs to keep machine downtime low. Quality Control: Inspect products for gluing and folding defects while packing by accurate counts. Maintain documentation: Complete job tickets and daily recap forms precisely. Keep your workspace clean, organized, and tour-ready every day. Meet production targets: Hit and maintain established hourly piece rates. What We Are Looking For: Experience: Previous experience operating or assisting with folder-gluer equipment (DGM/Diana highly preferred). Technical Skills: Ability to read a standard/metric ruler and understand basic technical PDF drawings. Math Skills: Solid basic math skills are required daily for counting and machine adjustments. Reliability: A rock-solid attendance history is absolutely non-negotiable. Physical Environment: Comfortable standing for long periods in a fast-paced, high-noise manufacturing setting.
