Full Job Description
FM Securities Overview: You will work in the dynamic world of Financial Markets and will focus on Operations. The Global Service Organization Financial Markets is one of three locations globally responsible for the processing of all trades concluded by ING Front Office traders globally. Although you will need to complete daily tasks individually, the team relies heavily on each other to ensure all problems and tasks are completed in a timely fashion. You will also be working in close contact with the Amsterdam-based Operations team in order to ensure all tasks are completed well and on time. You have a background in Finance, Economics, or other technical trade and have an interest in financial markets. Also, you are willing to work occasionally on public holidays and during European service hours. As you will be part of an international team composed of people in both Amsterdam and Manila, you need to enjoy working in a culturally diverse team. If you are good at: • Investigation and resolution of Securities Settlement related breaks in a timely manner • Analyzing complex problems and take corrective actions related to Settlement and Securities Reconciliations using existing procedures and solutions • Communicating issues and escalations with stakeholders (eg. Front Office, Clients, etc) • Analyzing internal issues and execute actions for resolution If you are: A professional and mature individual displaying the following behaviors: • You are analytical, flexible, open-minded, a team player • You can deal with tight deadlines • You have a client driven approach • You are fluent in English, both written and verbal • MS Office proficient • Able to adapt in a fast-paced working environment If you can: • Investigate and take corrective actions on settlement mismatch • Escalate timely issues/mismatch between FO and Counterparty booking • Monitor mailboxes related to pre-settlements, settlements and post settlements.
