What You'll Achieve.

Industry & Context.
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time including the ability to walk long distances., Ability to lift and/or move a minimum of 40 pounds of office and facilities equipment (cleaning products, tools, and ladders) and trash and the ability to safely use the equipment provided., Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus., Employees assigned to airport customers are subject to airport screening requirements.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6 or more months experience as a floor technician or in janitorial services is required, Knowledge of floor care equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures, Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions, Completion of significant safety training is required, Authorized to work in the U. S.
Nice to Have
High school diploma or GED preferred
What You'll Do.
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of floors
Operate and maintain specialized floor care equipment such as buffers
Respond promptly to spills and other floor-related maintenance needs to ensure safety and prevent accidents.
Apply appropriate floor finishes and treatments according to established procedures.
Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional care or repairs.
Dispose of waste materials and follow proper cleaning protocols.
Assist with carpet cleaning
and stain removal as necessary.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies.
Work collaboratively with custodial and maintenance teams to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
