# **Become a part of our caring community** The Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative responsibilities in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. Typically work on semi-routine assignments. You will report to the Center Administrator of the float staff. **Now offering $3,000 Bonus* for Bilingual Medical Assistants who join our new Primary Care Clinics in Phoenix in 2026.** **This is a float position, You will support various Centerwell Clinics in the Phoenix metro area.** The Medical Assistant discusses symptoms and obtains vital signs. They administer medications and vaccines, and perform phlebotomy. The Medical Assistant collects specimens and conducts screening tests. Additionally, they sterilize equipment and maintain exam rooms. The Medical Assistant documents in electronic records. They also collaborate with providers within certification limits. # **Use your skills to make an impact** **Required** * You will be Certified or Registered * You will have Phlebotomy experience * You will have medication/vaccine administration experience * You will have 1+ years MA experience * You will have a High school diploma or equivalent * You will be CPR Certified * You will be patient facing and run the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB. **Ideal Candidate** * You will have 1+ years MA experience in PCO center * You will have Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 **Pay Range** The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
