Flightline Operation Manager **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) has a rewarding opportunity for a **Flightline Operations Manager** (Level K) reporting to **Patuxent River, Maryland**. As a Flightline Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of IAM represented Aviation Maintenance Professionals in preparing Navy carrier-based aircraft for ground and flight testing. This position will be working **1st shift** and will require up to 25% domestic travel. **Position Responsibilities Include:** * Ensure that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery * Interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance * Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals * Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements * Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports * Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes * Manages, develops and motivates employees To be considered for this position, you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process.
