Debug and resolve software and hardware/software integration issues; Investigate software anomalies and contribute to root cause analysis
Relocation assistance will be provided, Up to 10% travel may be required, Must be a U. S. citizen or national, U. S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U. S. as a refugee or granted asylum, Background Check required, Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if required, Drivers may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, 2+ years of professional experience in embedded software development, Proficiency in C/C++ programming in resource-constrained embedded environments, Working knowledge of real-time operating systems, Familiarity with software verification, testing, and debugging techniques for embedded systems
Nice to Have
Experience developing flight software for spacecraft, satellites, or other safety-critical aerospace or robotics systems, Hands-on experience with real-time operating systems such as Linux, VxWorks, or FreeRTOS, Experience with Python for scripting or test automation, Familiarity with embedded communication protocols (e. g. , UART, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP)
