Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, U.S. Citizenship required, Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start required, Must be able to work any shift, Hourly position governed by IAM Collective Bargaining agreement, New hires may be required to attend training, Probationary period of 120 calendar days, Contingent upon successful completion of training and probationary period, Relocation offered based on candidate eligibility
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years experience performing military aircraft maintenance activities, 1+ years of experience in a military or commercial aircraft environment, Military fighter or commercial aircraft maintenance experience
Nice to Have
Experience in troubleshooting electronic and aircraft systems, Experience with Aircraft Maintenance/Aircraft Structural Repair
What You'll Do.
modification of electronic test equipment
Perform pre-flight status and final inspection
Perform daily maintenance of experimental aircraft
Inspect and perform bench and flight line operational checkout
repair electrical and electronic systems
Fabricate parts without jigs and fixtures
Perform aircraft flight line operational checkout
Install or replace instruments
Perform operational checkout of hydraulic systems
Perform operational checkout of mechanical systems
modify electronic test equipment
Perform operational checkout of aircraft prior to preflight
replace structural parts
Operate engines during run-ups
Diagnose and correct hydraulic malfunctions
Diagnose and correct mechanical malfunctions
Modify aircraft components
Modify aircraft support equipment
Install or replace reservoirs
Inspect explosive installations
Inspect armament installations
Install ejection seats
Perform engine buildup
Maintain aircraft historical records
Perform composite repairs
