Ability to work a variable shift, Ability to work overtime, 3+ years of experience with live aircraft field operations/aircraft systems/LOTO, 3+ years of experience within aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing, 3+ years of experience in advising and influencing others to meet schedules and safety requirements or resolve technical or operational problems, 3+ years of experience with Systematic Problem Solving
Nice to Have
5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, 3 years of experience with Boeing Production System (BPS) concepts, 3 years of experience in a team environment, Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
What You'll Do.
Supervising Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
Coordinating hazardous energy work
Hand-off or end-of-shift activities
Abnormal circumstance responses
Verifies Aircraft power can be safely provided to the airplane
Inventory LOTO Kits Pre and Post shift
Remove any LOTOs from the book as required
evaluate where hazardous energy is to be introduced
Review status of personnel and airplane system configuration
Transfer LOTOs to the incoming GC’s
Sign out of all open Control Log Sheets (X35681)
Verifies all mechanics are signed out of active LOTOs
serve as PAE (Primary Authorized Employee) for all or some of the LOTOs only when necessary
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Works cross-functionally to identify opportunities for improvement; Coordinating with Lead/Manager on execution and critical path of production build; Coordinating with Functional Test SMEs and ME’s; Transfer LOTOs to the incoming GC’s
Communication Scope
advising and influencing others to meet schedules and safety requirements or resolve technical or operational problems; team status updates
