What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry, 3+ years of experience with commercial airplanes or commercial derivatives, at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership"
Nice to Have
5+ years of experience in the flight sciences / aero-performance domain / weights and/or mass properties engineering., Experience working with regulatory agencies, Knowledge of aerospace engineering design concepts, processes, and techniques, communication and interpersonal skills, Proven ability to provide proactive leadership in dynamic and ambiguous environments to drive technical excellence, Ability to translate diverse perspectives within a team to develop strategies, make informed decisions, and implement innovative business models or process improvements, Act as a change agent by identifying strengths and weaknesses in existing operating models, tools, and processes, and collaborating with others to define and implement improvements

Flight Engineering Manager **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a **Flight Engineering Manager (Level K)** to lead the 737 Weight and Balance operations team within Flight Sciences. This position is based in **Renton or Seattle, Washington.** This first-line leadership role directs 737 Weight and Balance operations from Renton factory support through Seattle delivery, including flight test support and offsite activities as required. The position is accountable for staffing, workforce development, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness across all shifts and locations. The leader will drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, quality, and productivity while developing team capability and supporting employee growth.
