## Position Title School Bus Washer (Part-Time) ## ## Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Bus Washer to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our fleet. This position is responsible for washing, cleaning, and detailing school buses to ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment for students and staff. ## ## Key Responsibilities * Wash and clean the exterior of school buses using pressure washers, cleaning solutions, and other equipment * Sweep, mop, and sanitize bus interiors, including seats, windows, floors, and handrails * Remove trash and lost items from buses after routes * Refill cleaning supplies and maintain organization of washing and detailing areas * Perform basic inspections and report any visible damage, maintenance concerns, or safety issues * Follow all company safety procedures and cleaning standards * Assist with additional fleet cleaning duties as needed * Perform other duties as assigned or needed * Maintain punctuality and attendance according to company expectations ## ## Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Previous cleaning, detailing, or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required * Ability to work independently and efficiently * Strong attention to detail * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions * Must be dependable and have reliable transportation ## ## Work Environment * Indoor and outdoor work environments * Exposure to cleaning chemicals, water, and varying temperatures * Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement required throughout shift #Startup ** First for a reason:** At First Student, we are a family of 60,000+ employees who take pride in safely transporting more than 5 million students and passengers to and from their destinations each day!
