What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Qualified HGV Mechanic with a minimum of 2 years’ experience., diagnostic abilities with a high standard of technical competence., Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, IT and reporting skills., Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a work ethic., Excellent timekeeping and reliability., Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Nice to Have
Experience with MAN, DAF, Mercedes, Volvo, Krone/Schmitz Dhollandia tail and auto‑electrical/telematics systems
What You'll Do.
Maintenance and repair of HGVs
Routine servicing and CVRT preparation
12/13-week inspections
Diagnostics and fault finding
Preventative maintenance scheduling
Tail lift inspections and tyre coordination
Maintain records and reports
Support apprentice development
Maintain clean and safe work environment
