High school diploma or G. E. D., 3 years of experience in maintenance, 1 year of supervisory experience

What You'll Do.
Supervise maintenance shop
Supervise technician team
Perform preventive maintenance
Perform repairs on machinery
Provide direction to technicians
Ensure repairs are compliant
Monitor operational performance
Make recommendations for changes
Conduct daily shop coaching
Conduct employee training
Evaluate employee performance
Make hiring decisions
Make termination decisions
Perform inspections of outside repairs
Identify training opportunities
Discuss corrective action
Conduct Quality Control Inspections
Track issues and resolution
Oversee repair diagnostics
Provide coaching on complex matters
Oversee maintenance shop inventory
Maintain equipment and parts levels
Refer larger expenses to manager
Maintain advanced knowledge of systems
Perform advanced maintenance functions
Manage administrative matters
Maintain employee records
Record maintenance performed
Record information into software
Prepare budget for approval
Set departmental goals
