What You'll Achieve.

Must Have
Knowledge of basic computer skills and Microsoft Office, Advanced Root Cause Problem Solving, Effective and professional communications skills, customer service orientation, Ability to anticipate business needs and plan accordingly to ensure that equipment. employee and fiscal resources are utilized in the most efficient manner, High level of analytical skill to develop a range of possible solutions to address a wide range of issues, Organizational skills, Ability to collaborate and encourage employee engagement, Good financial management and planning ability to understand financial terms, budgets, tables and reports, Ability to develop realistic, comprehensive plans to make efficient use of resources, At least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor for a large fleet of vehicles or multiple site locations requiring knowledge and application of OSHA Haz OSHA Lock Out Tag and OSHA Fire Protection regulations, 3 years of leadership experience
Nice to Have
Automotive Service Excellence T2 Diesel Engine, T Master Certified. T3 Drive T4 Brake TS Suspension and Steering, Certified Automotive Fleet Management (CAFM) Financial Systems. CAFM Risk Management, CAFM Information Management, CAFM Asset Management. CAFM Vehicle, Fuel Management or experience with/knowledge of similar technology
What You'll Do.
Oversee up to 5+ maintenance shops
Manage multiple teams of technicians
Implement and monitor maintenance policies and procedures
Ensure repairs and maintenance comply with safety standards
Provide direction to technicians and supervisors
Ensure repair/maintenance work is performed safely
Reallocate resources among sites
planning/scheduling of repair work
Monitor shops' operational performance
Report to management on shops' performance
Implement procedures for process/programmatic changes
Oversee daily shop fleet walk-arounds
Coach and counsel lead technician and maintenance supervisor(s)
Make hiring/termination decisions
Oversee employee training and performance evaluations
Maintain an on-going preventive maintenance program
Identify trends in road calls
Oversee maintenance of building and other facility
Control maintenance costs
Perform inspections of outside repairs and maintenance
Identify training opportunities
Document issues and discuss corrective action
Accountable for scheduled Quality Control Inspections
Track issues and resolution
Maintain advanced knowledge of engine systems
Maintain advanced knowledge of emission systems
Maintain advanced knowledge of transmission systems
Maintain advanced knowledge of brake systems
Maintain advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems
Maintain advanced knowledge of electrical systems
Perform advanced preventive and repair maintenance functions
Perform advanced engine chassis repair
Perform advanced vehicle body control systems repair
Perform advanced heating and air conditioning systems repair
Use welding tools to fix heavy equipment
Maintain employee records
Record preventive and corrective maintenance
Record information into Dossier Maintenance Software
Prepare and submit budget for approval
Set departmental goals
