What You'll Achieve.
Reduce lost productivity; Ensure all work is done in a safe and timely manner; Ensure all repairs/maintenance are performed in compliance with standards and regulations; Ensure necessary equipment and parts levels are maintained; Ensure purchases are within budget; Align departmental goals with division leadership targets
Industry & Context.
Oversee repair diagnostics on more complex matters; Diagnose and repair complex heating and cooling systems
2nd shift
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or G. E. D., Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification, T3 Drive, T4 Brake, T5 Suspension and Steering, T6 Electrical/Electronic, T7 HVAC Systems, ASE T2 Diesel Engine, ASE T Master Certified, 3 years of experience in maintenance working with heavy equipment, 1 year of supervisory experience in a lead technician role, supervisor or other management role requiring a thorough knowledge of safe working practices, DOT, OSHA and other federal and state regulations
What You'll Do.
Supervise maintenance shop technicians
Ensure repair and maintenance compliance
Plan and schedule repair work
Monitor operational performance and efficiency
Report on process changes for improvement
Conduct employee training and performance evaluations
Perform inspections of outside repairs
Identify training opportunities and document issues
Conduct Quality Control Inspections
Oversee repair diagnostics on complex matters
Oversee maintenance shop inventory control
Manage administrative matters for team
Prepare and submit budget for approval
Set departmental goals
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Provide direction to technicians; Coordinate with Human Resources on hiring/termination; Refer larger expenses or major repairs to manager
Communication Scope
Constructively discuss corrective action
