What You'll Do.
Manage the SAP Investment Management/Project Systems (IM/PS) functionality
Complete journal entries
account reconciliations
and various financial analyses
Assist in the procurement process for capital assets
Review capex vs. opex for Capital Asset Requests (“CARs”)
Assist with the control and oversight of the internal order process for tracking capital investments
Provide monthly and quarterly reporting of capital project spend comparing actual-to-budget
Maintain alignment with the Company’s financial policies/procedures
Guide and facilitate the overall CAPEX workflow process
First pass review of all CARs submitted to the site
Review & preparation of any associated asset retirements
Month-end procedures and reporting requirements related to fixed assets and capitalized costs
Support the timely capitalization of completed projects
Contribute to the preparation of asset impairment analysis
Preparation of journal entries and required analysis for Asset Retirement Obligations
research and preparation of account reconciliations
Preparation of reports and other information related to internal requests
Monthly financial statement review and variance analysis
Support all fixed asset interfaces
Reconciliation of fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the business unit general ledgers
Monthly preparation of fixed asset roll-forward information and related reconciliations
Assist with report and system testing (ITC testing)
Contributes to efforts to enhance/streamline business processes
Support the execution of special projects

## How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Fixed Assets (FA) Junior Analyst will manage the SAP Investment Management/Project Systems (IM/PS) functionality for the company, complete journal entries, account reconciliations, and various financial analyses necessary for the completion of the financial statements. The role will involve working with Division Company finance and operations personnel to assist in the procurement process for capital assets, including the review of capex vs. opex for Capital Asset Requests (“CARs”), assist with the control and oversight of the internal order process for tracking capital investments, and provide monthly and quarterly reporting of capital project spend comparing actual-to-budget as well as other information. This role will work closely with other members of the Division Accounting department, Division FP&A, and the other GBS teams. ## **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Maintain alignment with the Company’s financial policies/procedures. * Guide and facilitate the overall CAPEX workflow process to support the timely approval and processing of CARs. * First pass review of all CARs submitted to the site, including but not limited to: * Verify all required data is included, e.g. vendor quotes, etc. * OPEX vs. CAPEX recommendation (including corresponding policy). * Review & preparation of any associated asset retirements. * Month-end procedures and reporting requirements related to fixed assets and capitalized costs, including the generation of reports and the preparation and posting of journal entries. * Support the timely capitalization of completed projects and help ensure assets are depreciated properly. * Contribute to the preparation of asset impairment analysis upon occurrence of triggering events. * Preparation of journal entries and required analysis for Asset Retirement Obligations. * CIP account analysis, research and preparation of account reconciliations. * Collaborate effectively with Production/Product Manag
