FIX Senior Software Engineer, AVP **Who we are looking for** Globallink, a division of state street Global Markets, is a market leader in providing electronic trading platforms for multiple asset classes. The primary focus will be on developing enhancements and supporting the ongoing evolution of State Street’s industry-leading foreign exchange trading and supporting services. These systems serve customers around the global and enable them to make smart trading decisions, execute trades, and settle large currency/derivatives trades, as well as provide them with necessary analytics and data services. The role is a principal application developer with experience with FIX protocol, Java multi-threading, Oracle, Spring Boot, messaging brokers, and other backend Java technologies. This is a hands-on developer position within a small development team in a very-fast-paced environment. The position is for a senior developer to be involved in sophisticated software development. **Why this role is important to us** The team you will be joining is a part of a trading technology function that is vital to the company. **What you will be responsible for** As a FIX Software Engineer, AVP you will: \- Develop backend code that adheres to architecture and overall design of the trading platform and facilitates integration between several trading applications within State Street and external clients. \- Write unit tests to ensure that implemented code introduces zero defects \- Adhere to company SDLC, IR Risk, and compliance policies * Efficiently use AI to maximize developer productivity and efficiency **What we value** These skills will help you succeed in this role * Work closely with Product owners, architects, QA engineers, and other development team members to use current technologies where appropriate, and implement full life-cycle, full stack development tasks. * Develop enhancement and support the ongoing evolution of State Street's industry-leading foreign exchange trading a
