What They're Looking For.
Must Have
HBO or WO degree, for example in Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Digital Design, or Electrical Engineering, At least 2 years of experience in embedded firmware development (microcontrollers and/or FPGAs), Program and develop firmware for our microcontrollers, Translate product specifications into design, implementation, and test plans, Develop in Embedded C/C++ on STM ARM processors and Xilinx SoC platforms, Design efficient algorithms and communication protocols, Set up the user interface, configuring sensors, and processing complex calculations in the firmware, Verify performance within the design phase, release processes, and production (CI/CD), Contribute to application development and product improvement, Collaborate closely with project management and fellow engineers within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have
3–5 years of experience, Experience with the Xilinx ecosystem is a plus, Knowledge of Linux OS is a plus, Experience with FPGAs is a plus, Experience with Python for verification is a plus, Affinity with video technology and knowledge of imaging sensors is a plus
