With thousands of employees supporting nearly 8,000 utilities in more than 100 countries, Itron empowers utilities to responsibly and efficiently manage energy and water resources. **Role: Firmware Engineer** ## **Location: Cikarang, Indonesia** Position Summary **Duties & Responsibilities** •Work as a member of a firmware development team and participate in team projects •Assist in design, development and troubleshooting of firmware sub-systems •Complete deliverables in identified schedules •Assist with problem investigation and resolution •Assist in implementing firmware process improvements **Skills and Experience Required** •Fresh graduate or 3 years of experience in firmware development or microcontroller programming •Fluent user of C/C++ language •Comprehend a basic digital/computer architecture •Experienced in at least one completed real world/commercial embedded system project •Knowledge about device communication protocol is a plus •Knowledge about digital security is a plus **Education** •Bachelor of Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering Itron is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce and providing an authentic workplace experience for all employees.
