Prior experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings or directly related experience, Solid understanding of fire alarm codes, standards, and regulations, including NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) and relevant building and fire codes, Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for fire alarm equipment, 1–4 years of electrical experience, understanding of the importance of quality, Ability to communicate effectively with others to promote efficiency, troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently, understanding of the importance of quality work, Detail-oriented, communication skills

Job Summary The Apprentice Electrician / Fire Alarm Technician works under the direction of Journeyman Electricians and is responsible for supporting the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of industrial and commercial electrical systems, as well as fire alarm and critical life safety systems. This role requires hands-on experience in both electrical work and fire alarm system installation and maintenance, with the ability to follow technical instructions, engineering drawings, and local codes.
