What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Outstanding interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills, Must be able to professionally represent Johnson Controls to customers in person and over the phone, 1+ year of experience or training in low-voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, or Paging OR 1+ year of training or experience in related systems (e. g. , IT/computer networks, manufacturing systems repair, or electrical systems), Ability to review operational/installation product manuals and develop a plan to resolve system issues, Knowledge of equipment that can be used to diagnose systems, such as voltage/ multi-meters, High School Diploma or equivalent with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, Ability to professionally represent Johnson Controls in person with communication skills, Demonstrate a high level of customer service, Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs, Able to work safely in many different positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within small spaces, above ceilings, etc, Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures, Ability to work flexible hours, including periodic OT or weekends, to meet customer requirements, Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements, Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test, Retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codes, Completion of Simplex 4007ES training within 12 months
